Notes and Quotes:
Cowlitz ASICS 16's finished the Power League Qualifier with 4 wins and 2 losses for a 5/6 place seed in the Gold Division for February's tournament.

The team started slowly in the morning narrowly defeating Camas Gold but stepped up the level of play immensely with a routing of Nike Attack, and a sound showing against South Coast Fire earning the first place finish in the morning pool and a place in the Gold Division.

All the first place pool finishers in the facility comprised the afternoon pool and proved to be a much higher level of competition. The team struggled through losses to Webfoot Gold and Nike Air Elite before stepping up and defeating Nike Force finishing off the day on a positive note.

The team was led by the strong passing and defense of Dani Nelson with 37 perfect passes and 10 digs, great offensive performances by Aaryn Lee with 15 kills and a 65% kill percentage, and Shyra Hoffman with 13 kills and a 50% kill percentage. Amy Higginson and Joelle Perez did an excellent job with set selection and placement throughout the day.
