well, placing in the top of each pool.
Our setters all played tough and
directed the team in play. Ranee and
Karee led the way in serving combining
for 8 aces. Our net play is improving.
Overall we hope to move up in power play
because of our enthusiasm and energy!!!!

The Cowlitz 14's Purple volleyball team
made everyone proud on Saturday, January
4, 2003. They fought for every point and
were extremely enthusiastic. They made
it to the Championship bracket after
being placed last in their pool. I was
very proud of the net play by Ranee
Cline . She had some great kills out
there. Kari and Cayden led the team with
great setting and awesome attitudes that
kept the team positive during the
tournament. Lacie and Brooke
played great defense as our defensive
specialists. Lacie will kill herself to
get a ball and it shows on the court.
Cassie really played great all around. I
think it was a great team effort.
Everyone really kicked in with
outstanding efforts and attitude. I
would really like to thank the parents
for great support of their players and
the team. It makes everyone get more
excited. We had some great fans!!
