NOTE:
This HELP topic is a work in progress! The most
important parts of using the CVC on-line CALENDAR are shown
here, but more will be added later.
LOGGING IN
You will need to log-in anytime that you attempt to
make a change to the on-line CALENDAR (since only coaches
are allowed to make changes). To access the log-in,
simply click on either a date (numerical value) or one of
the Add Events: Daily, Duration, Periodic.

ADD A DAILY EVENT
Use this when you want to add just 1 single event to
the on-line CALENDAR. This will create an event on
only the day that you specify.

on the date that you would like to add an event

Click on the Daily button at the bottom of the
page

Click
on the "Create" link.

Fill
out the Create New Calendar Entry form:

Calendar
Text -
This
is the text that will show up on the
calendar, and is meant as a title for the
event. Try to use something short,
such as "Team Practice" or
"Power League Tournament".

Start
Time / End Time -
Enter
the time which the event begins and
ends. This will show up on the
calendar.

|
Draw
Border -
Use this feature or not.
|
| d. |
|
Popup
Text or URL Link -
This
is where you can add all the information
that you want about an event, such as
location, reminders, etc. This
information will be displayed in a small
"popup" box when the Calendar
Text (entered above) is clicked. You
also have the option of adding a URL link
as specified in the Note below the field
that people can click on.

Background
/ Text Color -
Use this feature or not.
To pick a color, click on the Color Select
button and choose. Remember:
Make sure that the text shows up against
the background!

Click
on the "Submit" button. |

ADD PERIODIC EVENTS
Use this when you want to add multiple events that repeat
every week, every 2 weeks, every month, etc. Plus,
even if an event is not the same for each period, you can
still generate the periodic event, then make changes to
the individual events.

Periodic button at the top right

If you want to be able to change
individual events by themselves without
affecting other events, then you must
check this box. Note: Once you
do this, you can't make global changes to
the periodic events that will change all
of them at once.
